Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2026-11-03

{{RAZÓN SOCIAL}}, at {{DOMICILIO}}, is responsible for the handling of your personal data. This notice tells you plainly what we keep, what for, and who we share it with.

What we collect

Your email address, to create and identify your account.

The photos of your garments that you upload, and the photo of yourself you choose to use for the virtual try-on.

If you upload a photo of yourself wearing clothes to add them, that photo is used only for that and is not kept: we keep only the garments you choose.

When the app turns a garment photo into a catalog photo, we also keep your original photo, so you can go back to it whenever you want.

What you tell us about your style: your quiz answers (including, if you choose to answer it, the figure closest to yours), your garments and their tags, your looks, and what you liked or disliked.

Your conversations with Clio, so you can go back to them. You can delete any of them whenever you want.

With Premium, what Clio remembers from your conversations so she does not have to ask again: your tastes, your sizes, your job or an event and its date. You can see everything she remembers in Settings → "What Clio remembers about you" and delete anything you like.

If you use the Colour analysis (Premium), the selfie you take is used only to read your colours and is not kept. We keep only the result: your season, your skin undertone (warm, cool or neutral), your contrast and the colours that suit you.

If you use "Recreate this look" (Premium), the photo of the look you upload is used only to rebuild it with your clothes and is not kept.

Your city, for the weather. You can type it, or let the app detect it from your phone's location so it changes on its own when you travel. If you do, we keep only the city and its coordinates rounded to about a kilometre, never your exact location or where you go. You can turn it off in Settings → Your profile or in your iPhone Settings.

Which screens of the app you open and how long you spend on each. We do not record which garment or outfit you opened, only the name of the screen.

What we use it for

So your closet exists and follows you to a new phone.

So Clio, the stylist, can build and recommend looks from clothes you already own.

To show you how an outfit looks on you, when you ask for it.

To tell you which colours suit you and to rebuild looks that inspire you, when you ask for it.

To learn which parts of the app get used most, and improve it.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it beyond what follows.

Who we share it with

Supabase — stores your account, your closet and your photos.

Anthropic (Claude) — receives descriptions of your garments and what Clio remembers about you, so she can advise you; a garment photo when you upload one, to identify it; your selfie, when you ask for your colour analysis; and the photo of a look, when you ask to rebuild it with your clothes. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.

fal.ai — receives a garment photo to remove its background or turn it into a catalog photo; a photo of you wearing clothes, if you use one to add them; your model photo, to put it on a white background; and, when you tap "See it on", your model photo and your garment photos, to generate the image of you in that outfit.

fashn.ai — receives your photo and your garment photos only if fal.ai could not generate the "See it on" image. It is the backup service.

Open-Meteo — receives only the coordinates of the city you chose. It receives nothing about you.

Each of these receives the minimum needed to do its job, and nothing more.

These services are in the United States, so your data leaves Mexico for them to do their work. They act on our behalf and only for what is described here.

You decide before any photo leaves

The app asks for explicit permission the first time a photo of you or your clothes is about to leave the phone for an AI service. Say no and that feature simply is not used; the rest of the app keeps working.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete a garment, a look, a conversation, something Clio remembers, or your account, we delete what goes with it too.

The colour-analysis selfie and the photo of a look for "Recreate this look" are never kept: they are used at that moment and discarded.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, correction if it is wrong, deletion, or object to our using it. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Write to soporte@cliowear.com and we will reply within 20 business days.

Changes to this notice

If we change anything material, we will tell you inside the app before it applies.
